ARTISTS’ EXCHANGE

Given the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Canada in 2015 and for the purpose of enhancing understanding among the peoples of the two countries and promoting bilateral friendly exchanges, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and Canadian Fund for International Understanding through Culture (Can4Culture) agree to promote exchanges among artists from China and Canada through cooperation based on friendly consultations. The two sides sign the Memorandum of Understanding as follows:

1. CPAFFC will organize the visit to Canada of Chinese artist delegations annually for about two weeks. Can4Culture will act as the visit organizing host in Canada for these visiting Chinese artists. The delegation of visiting Chinese artists will cover their international and domestic travel and visit costs in Canada.
2. Can4Culture will invite Canadian artists to visit China. CPAFFC will be the organizing host for their stay in China for about two weeks. The Canadian artists involved in the delegations will cover their international and domestic travel and visit costs in China.
